    I'm sure they did put some of it into crypto - including
    the FTX product which, until VERY recently, looked to be
    rock solid. Crypto is very liquid and relatively anonymous -
    just what a nation under lethal attack needs.

    So, I find nothing unusual about this. In the old days
    they'd have bought gold ... but you have to MOVE gold
    around - crypto can simply be "beamed".

    What WAS unusual is the extremely sudden demise of FTX
    and the total disappearance of about 2 billion dollars
    during its last days. Accident ? Crime ? Russian cyber-
    warfare ? However 2 billion is dick compared to the
    amount of support Ukraine has been receiving.

    IMHO you're seeing some Vast Konspiracy where none exists.
    Of course the alt.conspiracy people can't find a dog turd
    on their lawn without seeing some huge govt plot (probably
    involving aliens) :-)
