    The appendix in the WCR that deals with this makes it clear the NAA testing had little if any
    probative value. Both NAA testing for barium and antimony and standard paraffin testing for
    nitrates cannot establish whether a person has or has not fired a gun. Both can yield false
    positives and false negatives. Cops might use a positive test as a way of getting a suspect to
    confess, but they have little evidentiary value at trial.
