• Help with real time apache log parsing on Ubuntu with GUI

From MummyChunk@21:1/5 to All on Sat Jan 20 09:44:03 2024
On of my friends who has been using WAMP for a considerable amount of
time recently switched to a test installation using Apache and
    Ubuntu.

With their WAMP, they were using a self hosted service called WhosOn
for real time log parsing of their IIS logs. Program they had on
Windows basically read the IIS logs and parsed out in a GUI all the
relevant info for all requests to their IIS server, including geographic/company info for each of the IPs.

Is there something similar for Ubuntu/Apache that can be easily
installed that will show all this info on the UBUNTU desktop in a GUI.

Splunk. :-) It will handle the Windows logs too.

The GUI is accessed via a web browser, but has a ton of features and can
    be extended with Javascript, etc.
