  • Firefox loading slow but chromium loads fast

    Made a clean account in /home/test

    Uninstalled firefox snap.
    Installed firefox with:
    sudo apt install firefox

    It still takes firefox around 5 to 7 seconds to start.

    SSD benchmark: 512 megabyte read, 2200 write

    With the write to cache buffer memory.

    Ubuntu 21.10

    I tried many things, but for example, Firefox Android is instantly
    at a 2017 Android phone compared to this.

    Chromium is perhaps 2 seconds with snap version.

    Firefox is the only slow application unfortunately.
