    A special bulletin from the National Security
    Agency warned of a security vulnerability in
    the same Signal messaging app that was used
    by the Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and
    more than 15 other national security leaders
    to discuss a real-time military strike on
    targets in Yemen.

    “A vulnerability has been identified in the
    Signal Messenger Application. The use of
    Signal by common targets of surveillance and
    espionage activity has made the application
    a high value target to intercept sensitive
    information,” said the special bulletin,
    labeled unclassified and for official use
    only.
