    . . .

This article is about a huge drop in demand/prices
in the Miami area. However we've been seeing this
here and there across the country now. A few
havens for the ultra-rich BOOSTED prices a lot
the past couple of months - even celeb doctors
had to flee Martha's, for example. However it
looks like a last panic attempt to score max
flip value - and they're NOT gonna get it.

Sound a bit familiar - like we did this all before
not SO long ago ??? Nobody learns a damned thing ...

Smashing housing prices would alone be WORTH all
the disruption Trump is causing ... it'd really
REALLY gotten out of hand - and was about to KILL
many urban areas since none of the younger gens
could possibly afford housing (hell, barely an
    expensive closet-apartment).

When Trump wipes out the economy houses will be worthless and nobody will
    have the cash or jobs.

    Trump's a mastermind, a stable genius.

Becoming the fourth largest economy will crack the demand and
    decrease prices.

Actually, he did. Following the tariff announcements, Canadians
started selling their American homes. It hit first in Florida. The
market was already softening but the tariffs have upset the market.

    ;)

Then, nobody wants to risk buying a home just now. Better to wait
until things become stable and predictable again.

With a democrat Congress and president

    https://www.wsj.com/economy/housing/home-builders-are-piling-on-discounts-as-they-struggle-to-entice-buyers-cf2cf236

Would a $5,000-off voucher entice you
    into buying a new home?

Builder Taylor Morrison launched an email
campaign this spring sending this offer to
prospective house hunters. The discount is
meant to offset President Trump’s tariffs,
which are expected to push up prices for
    new homes soon.

It is the latest profit-sapping endeavor
that American home builders have resorted
    to in a sluggish market.

The spring buying season, when builders make
close to 40% of their annual sales, is
halfway over. Based on earnings released by
listed builders, demand has been disappointing.
America’s biggest builder, D.R. Horton, said
revenue fell 15% in its latest quarter
compared with a year ago, while PulteGroup’s
    sales dropped 2%.

This is before the pain of tariffs is really
    felt.
