    A hysterical protester yelling about the "genocide" in Gaza interrupted a district town hall event being held by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-
    N.Y., shortly after it began on Friday night.

    As Ocasio-Cortez first began speaking, she pulled up a PowerPoint
    presentation for the night's event. She was then interrupted before even getting through her first slide discussing the Trump administration's
    budget cuts, including alleged cuts to local healthcare systems.

    "I am a healthcare worker and I want to know what you're doing about the genocide in Gaza!" the protester started shouting at the congresswoman.

    "Shame! Shame! Shame!" the audience began shouting at the disruptor.
    Audible "boos" could be heard as well.

    Ocasio-Cortez attempted to appease the disruptor, but nothing she could
    say calmed the person down. Staff at the event allowed the disruptor to continue yelling until they approached her and eventually led her out voluntarily.

    "Shame on you, you're a liar. You're a liar!" the woman screamed as others began to boo at her.

    "Shame on you, I used to support you," the woman shouted as she exited.
    "You're a war criminal! War criminal! War Criminal!"

    Ocasio-Cortez responded to the protester after things quieted down.

    "I more than welcome people who disagree, or are super pissed off at me
    for any issue to come, but we have some ground rules here," she told the
    town hall's attendees. "Please wait for the Q&A, because we don't want to deprive all of our neighbors of the ability to have information and
    hearing them respond to it… We need to be able to have this conversation."

    As rumors swirl over Ocasio-Cortez's ambition for higher office, the congresswoman raked in a massive $9.6 million over the past three months.
    The record-breaking fundraising haul was one of the biggest ever for any
    House lawmaker. Ocasio-Cortez's team highlighted that the fundraising came
    from 266,000 individual donors, with an average contribution of just $21.

    "I cannot convey enough how grateful I am to the millions of people
    supporting us with your time, resources, & energy. Your support has
    allowed us to rally people together at record scale to organize their communities," Ocasio-Cortez emphasized in a social media post.

    They lost in November 2024 because they went far left.

    spoken and they are fed up with DEI, woke, tranny stuff, greeniac
    theories and so forth.

    If the democrats continue to double down on the above they have no chance.

    The Dems leveraged the ZEALOTS over the past years as
    their ultra-purist SHOCK TROOPS.

    But NOW ... they're not pure enough to satisfy those
    zealots.

    If the DNC is to survive, they're gonna have to do
    something similar to what Lenin did to the Mencheviks

    Wokie has FADED FAST, horribly discredited. The DNC
    cannot continue by siding with that. As bad as some
    may think Trump/MAGA may be, they WON'T elected more
    WokieCom zealots.

    We MAY be on the verge of seeing a viable 3rd party
    take shape here - the sensible Dems need to separate
    themselves from the zealot rads.

    Yea.
    And as usual the democrat zealots are few in number but are very loud
    and have the media backing them.
    The problem is trust in the media is almost non existent.
    And politicians are very low on the trust factor as well.

    If Trump somehow manages to actually turn things around before the
    midterm elections, the republicans will remain in power.
    If not, or if things get worse, the republicans are sunk.

    I've wanted a viable 3rd party for years because neither the dems
    or repubs represent my views.
    Both parties have gone far too the extremes although I do believe at this time in history we do need some extremes in order to save our country.
    But once things stabilize, we need politicians who are closer to the center
    and willing to work across party lines or else nothing is going to get done.

    A viable, moderate 3rd party would be a good thing as long as it's not just used as a spoiler for one side or the other.
