EXAMPLE: The E. Jean Carroll case against Trump was past the statute of limitations and the Democrats changed the the law for one year in order prosecute him.

file lawsuits...
...but E. Jean Carroll didn't file a suit for sexual assault, but
rather she sued for defamation.
2. The law that was changed was changed in 2022...
