    "Democrats and liberals sure talk a lot about Trump and his cronies
    being fascists...so why do they always end up backing republican
    programs? Let's take a look at why the rich and powerful, regardless of political affiliation, support fascism."

    ~~~ ~~~
    There are practical limits even to free markets capitalism.
    Unavoidably there is a breaking point where rich peoples' personal greed massively starts to conflict with the interests of the rest of the
    population.
    Because of the increasing resistance shown by the work slave masses
    first via democratic institutions and then going beyond capitalism rich capitalists are predictably inclined to get ruthlessly inventive and
    grab for assorted forms of authoritarian governance overreach, not
    excluding outright fascism, in order to remain fully in control of society.
    They never talk about themselves, their crimes, and their failures.
