Rep. Kat Cammack arrived at the emergency room in
May 2024 terrified by what she had just learned:
Her pregnancy could kill her at any moment.

It would only get worse. The Florida Republican
needed a shot of methotrexate to help expel her
ectopic pregnancy, in which there is no way for
the embryo to survive. Her state’s six-week abortion
ban had just taken effect. She said doctors and
nurses who saw her said they were worried about
losing their licenses or going to jail if they gave
her drugs to end her pregnancy.

The vagueness was deliberate, so as to "freeze" professionals from

The key is to now watch Cammack to see what they come back to work to
do: will they introduce legislation which clears up this ambiguity?

    I'm betting not.

Republicans wrote the laws the way they did to intimidate
    professionals.
No they didn't. These "professionals" want to let her die so they can >>>>>> make a political point.

That would violate their Hippocratic Oath.  Not going to happen.

LOL! Where were you during Covid?

    What about "during covid"?

Go get the flu and then get pumped full of remdesivir until your kidneys fail.

Huh? What are you babbling about? Just take the vaccine.

HINT: Doctors gave COVID patients remdesivir, a drug with KNOWN dangerous adverse effects and KNOWN not to work, until their kidneys failed.

This individual patient data meta-analysis showed that remdesivir reduced mortality in patients hospitalised with COVID-19 who required no or conventional oxygen support, but was underpowered to evaluate patients
who were ventilated when receiving remdesivir.

Trump's bucking for king status with his policies and the big beautiful bullshit bill.

The law has exemptions for saving the mother's life by treating such
    cases.

All vague enough that the professionals were
afraid enough that the republicons would make an
    example of them.

So, it's not that the vague laws make you wonder what you are supposed
to do, it's that most laws that benefit you are too opaque to capitalize upon?

Someone who needed this treatment so stay
alive would not consider that law to be a
    "benefit"...
