As Los Angeles became a violent battleground against President Donald
Trump’s mass deportation plan, Homeland Security said it was still pulling the worst criminal illegal migrants off the streets to keep law-abiding residents safe.

Then you're claiming everyone in LA is legally within the US?
That's a rather bold statement.... but apparently the INS has no
problems finding the people you claim aren't there.

We do have to worry about deportations, scooter, because the ICEstapo *already*
is kidnapping and deporting citizens. Most of them were children whose non- >> citizen parents were deported, but because the parents were not afforded due >> process, they were unable to find alternate care for their children who could
have remained in the country. But the criminal Nazi filth Trump regime doesn't
care about due process. Being Nazis, they simply don't follow it.
Here's hoping Rudy will be deported any day now.
Not going to happen, scooter. I can trace my American ancestry back to
1642 in New Haven. And unlike your ancestors, scooter, mine never took
up arms against the United States. You wouldn't even exist, scooter, if
your ancestors had been executed for treason as they should have been.

The LA and SF residents are protesting because if the government kicks all the illegals out, they'll actually have to do some work.

That's true. California also tends to borrow federal money, divert it
to pet projects that never complete, then stick businesses with the
bill.

heck, look at their high speed rail system.. which has and continues
to cost in excess of $100 Million per mile of track.
Who could ever afford the tickets?
That assumes they even complete the project.
The project passed in 2008 and was to be completed in 2020
as of the first of the year (2025) 22 miles of continuous track has
been laid and are working on another 119 miles. This out of the 494
miles of the project. So five years beyond projected completion we
still have NO useable system.. and the price has gone from around $35
Billion to over $100 Billion.
Indeed just yesterday California has come out and told us that the
Central Valley section would end up costing more than the entire
project was suppose to cost.
Even assuming they could complete it.. could they ever raise the fare
high enough to even pay the interest on the Construction job?
I mean who can afford $1,000 ticket when you can hop a flight for a
fraction of that and get there far sooner?
