Earlier this month, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) weighed in on the absurdity
of the failed Democrat response to the Los Angeles riots, ripping into Democrats, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor
Karen Bass, for their grotesque incompetence in purportedly attempting to manage the crisis by, in effect, capitulating to the woke mobs.

As we reported at the time, Kennedy's assessment of Newsom, in particular,
    was spot on.

"The governor's been very consistent on one thing: His antipathy toward
the lives and feelings of ordinary Americans, including public safety,"
Kennedy observed. "Governor Newsom is - his record shows this, he's the dictionary definition of 'weenie.'"

As it turns out, "weenie" was even a more apt description of Newsom than previously imagined, something confirmed with his announcement Friday that
    he was suing Fox News:

The California governor accused Fox News of defamation in a lawsuit Friday morning, alleging the network should fork over $787 million after host
Jesse Watters claimed Newsom lied about his phone calls with Trump, who
ordered National Guard troops to Los Angeles this month. Newsom’s lawyers
argue Watters’ program misleadingly edited a video of Trump to support the claim.

    [...]

“If Fox News wants to lie to the American people on Donald Trump’s behalf,
it should face consequences — just like it did in the Dominion case,”
Newsom told POLITICO in a statement. “Until Fox is willing to be truthful,
I will keep fighting against their propaganda machine.”

Fox News, in a statement, said, “Gov. Newsom’s transparent publicity stunt
is frivolous and designed to chill free speech critical of him. We will
defend this case vigorously and look forward to it being dismissed.”

As to who is paying for the lawsuit, "Newsom is suing in his personal
capacity and has agreed to pay any possible fines or penalties from his campaign account, aides said."

Incredibly, Newsom cited President Trump's lawsuits against other media
outlets in part as justification for his, which is weird considering the
ABC News lawsuit revolved around a false and defamatory claim made about a previously settled court case, and the CBS News one alleged deliberately "fraudulent" election/voter interference because Trump was running for president at the time of the "60 Minutes" segment's airing. Newsom hasn't declared he's running for any other office, last I checked.

His mentioning of the Dominion case also doesn't make sense, in my
opinion, as Dominion is a company. Newsom is a public figure, and an
elected one to boot. Jesse Watters is an opinion host on Fox News who
gives his political opinions daily, which is what he did with the back- and-forth over the phone call.

Newsom has said he'll drop the lawsuit if Fox News retracts and Watters apologizes on air and admits he was supposedly wrong. Judging by the
network's response to the suit, however, it doesn't look like that's going
    to happen.

Needless to say, this had some questioning Newsom's priorities:

    There was also this:

Hmm. It's all starting to make a lot more sense now.

Editor's Note: President Trump is leading America into the "Golden Age" as Democrats try desperately to stop it.

November 5, 2024 - Congratulations President Donald Trump. We look
forward to America being great again.

We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so that
    stupid people won't be offended.

Every day is an IQ test. Some pass, some, not so much.

Thank you for cleaning up the disasters of the 2008-2017, 2020-2024 Obama
/ Biden / Harris fiascos, President Trump.

Under Barack Obama's leadership, the United States of America became the
The World According To Garp. Obama sold out heterosexuals for Hollywood
    queer liberal democrat donors.

Observations about Newsom - SPOT ON. What
    a total, hideous, LOSER ... shouldn't be
in charge of the garbage service. He's just
another ultra-lefty destroyer - but DO expect
the MSM to suck his dick.

LARGER picture - we're now kind of in a period
    where there's a kind of neo-commie revolution.
There WILL be deaths, killings, flames. The good
old Useful Idiots will be leveraged, martyred,
    to the max.

Push through - OR ELSE we become the 3rd-world.

    Politics - ancient and evil.
