After the dramatic rise and fall of President Donald Trump's
partnership with Elon Musk, the former DOGE boss has been
exiled to the sidelines and is forced to watch his nemesis,
OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman, potentially take his place.

Altman and Musk had one of the most publicly brutal fallouts
in the tech world when they went from partners to foes in 2018.

The two founded OpenAI together in 2015 as a non-profit to
ensure the landscape of artificial intelligence remained
ethical amid technological advancements.

However, due to competing AI models from Google and Amazon,
OpenAI shifted to a public benefit corporation, which Musk
blasted for straying from the original business model.
