There have been many positive effects of Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 presidential election. One of those is that we haven’t had to hear as
much toxic yammering from California Dem Rep. Nancy Pelosi, who fancies
herself nowadays as “Speaker Emerita” to stroke her own ego and remind House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) who’s really boss.
Instead of enjoying her golden years traveling with her husband or
playing with her grandchildren, the 85-year-old is still desperately
trying to stay relevant despite the fact that Republicans hold power in
the House, the Senate, and the Oval Office and have strung together an
epic list of accomplishments while the Democrats have watched their
approval ratings sink ever lower.
Perhaps Pelosi hasn’t been paying attention to the news. Speaking at the Voters of Tomorrow summit Friday, she predicted Democrats would take
back the House, the listless Jeffries would become Speaker, and voters
would wholeheartedly reject MAGA. Even the “whoo-hoos!” from the crowd seemed uninspired:
"We have no doubt that we will win the election with the House of Representatives," Pelosi said, eliciting applause from the crowd. She
then responded to the cheers by once again saying "No doubt."
The longtime California lawmaker also said she was confident that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., would be speaker of the House
after the 2026 midterms.
Note that the chyron says “NANCY PELOSI. SHE/HER.” Seriously, you're
still going with that garbage? This is exactly the kind of silliness
that has soured so many Americans on this divisive party.

Dems' 'Embarrassing' Failures
The “Speaker Emerita” focused, as so many Democrats do, not on their
failed policy ideas but on the “messaging”:
While Pelosi was confident about the Democrats’ chances, she also
emphasized the need for preparation. The former House speaker credited
early preparation for the Democrats’ victories in 2006 and 2018 to early preparation, saying that 2026 could be the same.
"It's important to be strong in the year in advance, because that's when
the troops line up. We have our messaging, we have our mobilization, we
need the money to do it, but they go only next to a school to hold up
the most important part: the candidate," she said.
In this next clip, she prattles on about income inequality, on but it
comes across as hollow considering her husband Paul has made hundreds of millions of dollars off stock trading with magically timed moves—while she’s been in office. It’s legal, but some lawmakers think it’s
blatantly unethical—so much so that Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has
introduced the beautifully named PELOSI Act (Preventing Elected Leaders
from Owning Securities and Investments Act) to prevent lawmakers and
their spouses from trading.

Reminder…
Nancy Pelosi outperformed Warren Buffet over the last 10 years.
Pelosi’s stock portfolio grew by 720%.
Buffett's stock portfolio grew by 185%.
Pelosi had almost 4 times the gains.

Criminal.
Pelosi obsessed over polling and vowed to bring down “what’s his name’s”
numbers. Apparently, she doesn’t realize that she’s openly wishing that
bad things will happen in America so she and her cronies can get back in
power.
Anything is possible, and the Democrats could indeed take back the House
in ’26. That being said, I sure like where the Republican party is
sitting a lot more than the losing spiral where the Democrats
(deservedly) find themselves.
If the octogenarian Pelosi is still considered one of their top dogs,
they’ve got a steep hill to climb in regaining voter enthusiasm. This
speech certainly didn’t accomplish that task.
