• Good Neighbors - Some Parts of USA Still Work

I was expecting a few letters - one with a check and
the others with valuable info. Had been a week, was
trying to figure out who I should contact.

Then an unknown neighbor woman showed up and stuffed
them in my front door. Missed her, too bad. Only saw
her in the security cam log.

The increasingly crappy USPS had delivered them
well up the road despite all the boxes having
    big clear numbers.

There's really no substitute for the USPS, but
it NEEDS to de-crap. Smaller but sure and
efficient ... that's what America needs.

In any case, not all of the USA is like the
big blue cities - there's some 'Mayberry'
    still out there.

    Crappy?

FedEx is a direct competitor of the USPS. A
20-year air cargo agreement between the two
came to an end in September 2024. UPS was
    selected as a replacement.

Steiner will succeed Louis DeJoy, a Republican
appointed during the first Trump administration,
    who resigned earlier this year.

Well lookee there, cupcake. USPS has been run
    by FELONdent appointees since 2020!

The most recent officeholder is Louis DeJoy,
who was appointed on June 16, 2020.
