Trump spectacularly ousts the head of the IRS and puts in one
    of his closest loyalists

President Donald Trump is replacing the head of the Internal
Revenue Service with one of his closest loyalists.

Only two months after he was confirmed as commissioner of the
IRS, Billy Long will reportedly be replaced at the request
of the president, according to the New York Times.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will serve as acting commissioner
until a permanent replacement is found.

Long, a former Missouri House lawmaker, was confirmed to his post
back in June by 53-44 Senate vote along party lines.

Democrats opposed Long’s nomination due to his lack of a resume
in tax policy. Long is reportedly set to be nominated for
    an ambassadorship after his departure.

Long’s limited experience included promoting a tax credit
along with calling for the abolition of the IRS while serving
    in Congress.

    . . .

It'd be nice to see those early 1900s forms
again ... "Find your income in the left hand
column and then pay the tax listed in the
corresponding right-hand column. Mail to IRS" :-)

Ah, the NO BULLSHIT days ...

Now ... "multiply 27b by the 3-D volume (in cubits)
of an X/Z' slice of a hyperdodcecahedron"

As the article says, the current boss was a RECENT
appointee ... apparently a DISAPPOINTee for whatever
    reasons.

    Trump appoints people, then promptly
fires them, then appoints a replacement,
    who will soon be fired.

How long before Trump - like Hitler -
just assumes control of the whole government?

Hitler still had underlings who did the day-to-day evils of his regime. Trump has, and will have, as well.

You have to wonder what "disloyalty" this incompetent fuck Billy Long could possibly have demonstrated in *less than* two months on the job. More than punishing Long, I have to think Trump is rewarding some still-more-incompetent sycophant.
