  • While Street Crime is "Down" in DC It's STILL Way Too Much

    Trump already has federal law-enforcement on DC streets.
    His next step is likely to bring in National Guard to
    try and smush-down the street thugs and such. A few
    recent very high-profile incidents will justify this.

    DC govt, nefariously 'woke' and soft on crime - esp
    if 'fringe/minority' groups are involved. This has
    created Open Season for the thugs and nutters.

    NOT good.

    Should the feds take over law enforcement everywhere
    all the time ? Generally NO. It'd be a serious sort
    of over-step. Normally localities should control their
    own environment.

    But a FEW localities don't/won/t/can't. Sometimes
    these are LARGE localities - and millions are
    negatively affected. The average folk THERE still
    deserve a better life, far fewer thugs.

    So, at minimum, six of one ......

    If your Wokie city/county/state WON'T get it done
    then SOMEBODY has to.

    And Trump agrees.

    Post if you see black-uniformed jack-booters
    marching to martial music down the street.
    Otherwise, be glad they're there. The Wokie
    left just BLEW it - really bad. Their whole
    goal was to rot the horrible awful evil USA
    from within ...

    Visited DC in the mid 80s. The Metro was NEW.
    Recently found one of those little brown cards.
    The city seemed SAFE. Visited the capitol
    and indicated to the guards over The Chamber
    that I had a Buck knife on my belt. They just
    waved me through, no issue. That's how it
    USED to be - and needs to be AGAIN. Thugs,
    nutters, psychos, fanatics ... put 'em DOWN.
    Won't always be pretty, but Get It Done and
    re-make a Normal that's bearable and civil.

    (note, the UK, they've already Lost It ...
    predict total DOOM inside 10 years)

    Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low

    In January, the Metropolitan police department and US attorney’s office released a report indicating that total violent crime in DC in 2024 was
    down 35% from the prior year, marking the lowest rate in over 30 years.

    The overall violent crime reduction included a 32% decline in homicides,
    a 39% decline in robberies, a 53% decline in armed carjackings and a 27% decline in assaults with a dangerous weapon, compared to 2023. The
    progress, US attorney Matthew Graves said at the time, was based on a
    strategy that focused on specific groups and drug trafficking networks targeting certain neighborhoods.
