"Pretty soon, you won't have a country anymore"
'President Donald Trump announced Monday he was putting the Washington,
D.C. police department under federal control and deploying National
Guard on the streets of the nation's capitol, a striking move taken over
the objections of local leaders, who say Trump is exaggerating the
city's crime problems.'

'Data show that violent crime in the nation’s capital is down
significantly from a peak in 2023. But Trump paints a different picture. Trump described Washington as “one of the most dangerous cities anywhere
in the World” in a post on Truth Social Saturday. On Sunday, Trump
wrote, “I’m going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before. The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will
give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital.”'

"DC police commander placed on leave over 'deliberately' falsifying crime data

Even assuming that's true, aren't you just avoiding having to say that
it's wrong for Trump to take over the DC police force?
That's it's wrong for him to say he'll do it in other cities?
Come on, brave guy: you're the one who's always saying how independently
you think!
But here you are snipping a lot of content and attempting to justify the unjustifiable.

It has nothing to do with being "brave" as you call it. I am simply stating the facts regarding crime reporting in the US and DC is hardly the only
major city that has been fudging the numbers.
Nothing more and nothing less.
