TransUnion, one of the three major credit reporting companies,
confirms a data breach has exposed millions of customers’
personal information. Hackers stole sensitive data from a
third-party application used for customer support, that
includes names, birthdates, and Social Security numbers. If
exploited, criminals can use this information to commit
identity theft.

Go ahead, sue. They'll get some lackey judge to
combine all the suits and then just DISMISS
them all.
MAY be some legal tactics to prevent that, but
we've seen it before.
Credit agencies are very happy to pass judgments
on YOU - ones almost impossible to un-do. But
when THEY screw up don't expect any satisfaction.
In any case, all new numbers ARE required now. Will
be ugly, but ......
