    Unfortunately, it seems to be the target of some sex obsessed fools that
    likely just discovered usenet... lol

    It is annoying to have to continuously delete such garbage posts, but it
    does warm my heart to see fresh unread posts in comp.lang.cobol

    Looking at this old post, the demise of Google Groups stopped:
    - those sex-obsessed posts
    - those crazed Italian-language rants
    - that DOS attack using Thai-language gambling spam.

    What a difference a year makes.
