But the latest versions there are 8.5.2 and 8.5.9.

What's going on? No one uses TclKit anymore?

I found a tclkit thread from September '21 that may be helpful

I built a linux binary for 8.6.13 recently using kitgen from https://github.com/patthoyts/kitgen

    Have a look here: https://github.com/auriocus/kbskit/releases/tag/v8.6.11
These tclkits are built on the Github Actions platform. I occasionally
update the build scripts for newer versions. If you are willing to build
on your own, you can also try BAWT or undroidwish.

Perhaps the KitCreator by Roy Keene can help you (http://kitcreator.rkeene.org/fossil/index).
There is an online- interactive build system : http://kitcreator.rkeene.org/kitcreator.

Equi4.com is "dead", but there are other sources of 'kits and other people
have taken over maintaining the TclKit eccosystem. For Linux and MaxOSX, it is trivially easy to build your own up-to-date 'kits. I don't know about
building for MS-Windows -- it might be possible to cross-build.

TclKits are alive and well, just not at equi4.com.

    It's alive and kicking.

I have a version running with Tcl9.0b1 and Tk8.7.b1 currently under test.
Will be part of the next BAWT release.
