• Ubuntu not binding to ethernet adaptor

    Odd! Running Ubuntu on a VirtualBox. It installs well
    but on reboot, it cannot see the internet. What gives?

    Do you use the Option "Bridge" in the network settings of the
    machine in Virtualbox?

    there is no binding. It is a fake concept. There is an IP stack and
    the network card talks drivers talk to it.

    Something is blocking your interneet connection. Try looking at your
    network settings.
