I'm not a Windows fanboy as much as I am a disgruntled Linux advocate. I
still offer it as a solution to others and am aiming to use it as my
main operating system, but I can't help but admit that for most of what
I am looking for, Apple and Microsoft provide better options.
I realize that. I get the idea you really want to use Linux, but you want it to do some of the things (like play games) the same as Windows. I see a lot of people on Reddit who say they want to move to Linux from Windows, and ask what's the best distribution for games. If I respond, I just tell them they'll probably want to dual-boot or stick with Windows for gaming. I'm guessing there will be some fairly good PCs that will be abandoned (or moved to Linux) when Microsoft forces Windows 11 on Windows 10 users.
