It's a fact, as sick as it sounds.
I'm sure the people of NC could use $8 million to rebuild.
    Same for LA.

'Trump Was Right, $8 Million to Trans Mice'

'Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. Despite the initial barrage
of so-called “fact checks” by the left, Trump was right.

Our government really did spend $8 million on pumping mice full of
    transgender hormones.

    The Gateway Pundit reported,

A CNN fact-check of President Trump’s speech to a Joint Session of
Congress on Tuesday, claiming that the President made up a finding that
$8 million was spent to give mice transgender treatments, has been
retracted after the White House provided proof of the claim.

The dishonest fact-checkers got caught lying again.

President Trump, while delivering his Joint Address to Congress on
Tuesday, outlined some examples of waste fraud and abuse discovered by
the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), including “$8 million
    for making mice transgender.”

“We found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud, and we’ve taken back the money and reduced our debt to fight inflation and other things,” President Trump told the nation.

CNN was quick to fact-check the President’s claim about transgender
mice, claiming, “Trump falsely claimed that the Department of Government Efficiency identified government spending of “$8 million for making mice transgender.”

However, after the White House provided the receipts showing that $8.3
million dollars was reportedly provided for “studies that involve mice receiving treatments that can be used in gender-affirming health care.”

Still, CNN claims that the statement lacks context because “the studies
were meant to figure out how these treatments might affect the health of
humans who take them, not for the purpose of making mice transgender.”
    What a load.

“An earlier version of this item incorrectly characterized as false
Trump’s claim about federal money being spent for “making mice transgender.” The article has been updated with context about the
spending, which was for research studies on the potential human health
impacts of treatments used in gender-affirming care,” reads a footnote
at the bottom of the edited fact check.

You got up at 6am to go to work when you did not want to so that you
could provide for your family. Your government took that hard-earned
money from you and used it to make mice transgender.'

    Fake news strikes again.
Now we know why they dropped this one like a hot potato.

Yes, Trump, DOGE and the GOP fucked up bigly, because they incorrectly
assumed that "transgenetic" is the same as "transgender" when it is not.

TL;DR: transgenetic has nothing to do with male/female genders stuff.

The transgenetic lab mice in question were mice which had had their DNA genetically altered so that they would be a closer match to human DNA,
which makes them better for conducting medical research on, because a
"better match" in animal testing means that the research becomes more
accurate for human application, making it more effective and safer.

But you don't need to believe me: go fact-check it yourself.

    Here's a starting point:
    <https://www.genome.gov/genetics-glossary/Transgenic>

    [quote]
Transgenic refers to an organism or cell whose genome has been altered
by the introduction of one or more foreign DNA sequences from another
species by artificial means. Transgenic organisms are generated in the laboratory for research purposes.

Transgenic. Transgenic has been used in genetic studies for a long time.
They were used to demonstrate that DNA is the molecule that carries the
genetic code and that oncogenes can cause cancer. Transgenic animals
have been generated to understand normal physiological processes such as metabolism and blood cell production. Transgenic animals have been used
to model human diseases and to develop new treatments. Transgenic crops
have been produced that are resistant to infectious diseases and grow
    faster.

Microsoft, realistically, seems to be having to support Windows 10
beyond this extra year gimmick. There's an incredible demand from
people who would be better serviced by Linux, in all likelihood.

Well, given your self admitted bias in these matters, and general ignorance
of PCs, your opinion is about as relevant as that of a snail.
