• PDF/X for printing on MacOS

From Martin =?UTF-8?Q?=CE=A4rautmann?=@21:1/5 to All on Tue Apr 16 09:24:47 2024
    Hi all,

I got an offer from a printing company that asks for PDF/X

I have created a simple flyer in Libreoffice and wonder how to create a
    flyer with that.

LibreOffice exports a flyer nicely as PDF 1.7. As an option it does
    offer PDF/A (A-1b, A-2b or A-3b). No hint about PDF/X anyhwere.

If I export this PDF with some fonts and images, it's about 800 KB.

When I use the print dialog and "print to PDF", it becomes PDF1.3 with
almost 30 MB. It's about the same when I use print -> open in Preview
    and save from there.

So how/where can I create PDF/X on a mac, without buying expensive "professional" publish software?
