In this world, the answer to the first question is some amount of yes, even if it's just the occasional updates to allow the 2200 ecosystem to continue to interact with the rest of the technology out there, which does change frequently. Much of the later
technology seems to be centered around leveraging SAIL (even if only for the OS), and improving the ability to interact with whatever else is in the data-center. But as I said, I haven't noticed much new... perhaps they're focused on finishing up the
date conversion - and *that* is something that will definitely break if you just let it continue doing its job.
