    Ahoy, Spec-chums. I certainly wasn't expecting to be posting on usenet
    in 2024, but here we are.

    Anyhow, I'm only here to repost Jbizzel's blog post from https://csscgc24b.blogspot.com/2024/08/welcome-to-csscgc24-part-deux.html?m=1

    This is unexpected. Some might say unprecedented. The situation is this: Ed, this year's host, is MIA and every attempt to contact him has been unsuccessful. (Ed, we are hoping that you are ok and just taking a little break from retro).

    We really believe that crap games should be reviewed. After all, putting the reviewer through the mill is half the motivation for making a game sometimes.

    And reading the reviews can be half the fun.

    So, in an effort to help 3 hot shot reviewers (or happless saps?) have come forward with an offer to review the games. To keep the fires burning until Ed returns. The reviewers are:

    @Uglyfruit, @MPK and myself.

    To enter, please email your games to (same as last year)...

    And I will share the games between reviewers and get the reviews posted here as they come in.

    In this way, I hope we can help Ed, and keep things on track, in readiness for his return.

    This is not a new competition, more a part deux to what Ed began.

    Hopefully EdToo is okay and returns to the helm soon.

    Further to this, if anyone has submitted to be the original address and the
    entry hasn't been reviewed, please resubmit to the mail above.

    Also, I believe there's a DNS entry for the competition? Might be best to
    point that at the new site for now. (I've somehow managed to delete all the
    old threads and can't download them again, so I can't check the url. )
