Now is the time for free games. You know where. You know how. I'm just
here to remind you of the what.
This is the what:
* Chivalry 2
https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/chivalry-2
The sequel to the popular medieval online whacking
simulator. It's got a very nice presentation and is an
okay game, I suppose, although I never really engaged
much with the combat; it just takes too long to kill
people. The community is (or was) fairly cool (well,
compared to some) but apparently the developers aren't
doing all that much to fix a number of gameplay and
technical issues (maybe the recently released 'Regicide'
update fixes these; I don't fell particularly inclined
to reinstall the game and find out). Basically, if you
like playing online in drawn out melee combat, you'll
enjoy this game too. But if that's not your preferred
style, it's hard to recommend this one.
That's this week's game. You have the usual seven days to claim it
before it's gone, replaced by something new. Will you take it and make
The Number happy? Or will you relish your manageable and compact
video-game library uncluttered by unwanted games you'll never play?
Make your choice!
I enjoyed its free Steam weekend so I claimed it from Epic! Thanks. ;)

I think I remember playing on a free weekend a long time ago too, or
maybe that was the original. I picked it up, chances I'll play it are
low, but above 1%.
