    Careful with the keys. I keep walking away from my car without locking
    it and it doesn't have auto-lock.

    I also wonder how resistant new cars are to keycode cloning devices

    From the news stories I've seen about huge increases in car thefts via counterfeit key fobs I'd guess "not very".
