Personally, I'm not that disappointed. I was never the biggest fan of Starcraft, and I've tired of the RTS genre in general. If I never got
to play "Starcraft III", I wouldn't lose much sleep about it. (Plus,
you all know my opinion of sequels and remakes over new IPS anyway).
But I think it's telling that after boasting about how the merger with Microsoft would unleash a new age for classic franchises like
Starcraft, the first we hear of is mobile-slop. It's great to see
these mega-mergers of giant corporations working out for the gamer,
eh? Why bother with innovative and quality games when you've captured
the market with your sheer size? Give the customers crap; where else
are they going to go?
