    Whatever your opinion on immigration -in the US or elsewhere- the way
    the current US Administration has been going about it is something
    everyone should be concerned about. Violating the constitutionally
    protected due-process rights is a blight on a civilized society, and
    the USian immigration police's methodology is frighteningly close to >police-state tactics. Even if you aren't a USian, stopping bullshit
    like that happening in the world's most heavily armed super-power is a
    cause worth supporting, because if a country doesn't even care about
    the rights of its own people, then it sure as hell won't care about
    the rights of people beyond its borders. I'll happily throw in a
    tenner if that'll help keep me safe.

    wearing masks, without uniforms or badges.

    No, the SC extremely limited National injunctions. Not the same thing
    as saying what Trump is doing is legal. Basically the SC said the lower
    courts are right, the plaintiffs will probably win but until then you

    1) "Hotbed of crime". For many years it has been known that
    undocumented immigrants commit SIGNIFICANTLY less crime than citizens.

    2) They are everywhere. Trump emphasizes "enforcement" in politically
    blue areas because he is targeting the politicians in those areas.

    3) "Democratic stronghold" = "hotbed of crime" is actually the opposite
    of the reality. States that are strongly Republican actually tend to
    have higher crime rates.

    Their version of "American values" come from the Bible.  And many of
    them are finding out the reality of what they were advocating is NOT
    what they actually want and some of them will probably die as a result.

    Another strange thing to me, normally what I hear from Christians when
    someone points out 'problematic' parts of the Bible is that's Old
    Testament so doesn't count for reasons. Now it seems to be don't listen
    to that nonsense from Jesus as he's obviously a woke leftist.
