Okay, you all can probably guess my answer. I'm a grumpy introvert and
I don't like sharing more information about myself with corporations

Corporations *need* to know nothing about me, and unless the reward is a
crisp (and real) $100 bill sent to me in the mail, it ain't gonna happen
that I will volunteer info to them.

Here's a clue companies; I want my personalized ad experience, (almost
always why they want your info,) to be NO FUCKING ADS AT ALL!

If that is not an option companies, then take a long walk on a short
    volcano (active of course.)

Where do you draw the line?

I don't "draw the line." There is no line. If I'm in the mood, an account
gets linked, but not usually with a game. Usually it's with delivery
services, social, etc. For delivery services and social, even with no
    reward being offered, I'm in.

I'm not sure I've ever been asked by a *game* to link an external
account. Just annoying BS like Rockstar Social Club.

If a game asked, I'd guess I am a 4, but I have no real opposition to
feeding these guys my gaming data. It's not like I'm going to be the
center of some scandal because I accidentally added "Being a DIK" to my
GOG.com library. They can do whatever they want with it so long as
there's an "unsubscribe" option on the inevitable marketing emails.

Tbh, I like to receive properly targeted marketing appeals. It's better
than the spaghetti on the wall approach. If the ads are going to be
constant and annoying anyway, they may as well be relevant.

Heh. I keep track of what questions I've asked, but not the numbering.
So I'm forced to make random guesses as to what number comes next.
Maybe I need to put all this information in spreadsheet.

    Do you link the account?

    1) It doesn't ask me because I'm registered
    with every possible service already!
    2) Heck yeah! No downsides and I get a hat?
    Click-click, I'm all in, baby!
    3) Well, I really don't want to... but that is a
    nice hat, so okay.
    4) I would if the reward was better. Maybe if you
    give me two hats?
    5) Sorry, even two clicks is too much work.
    6) No, I never join a group that would have me
    as a member.
    7) I don't play any new games.

Okay, you all can probably guess my answer. I'm a grumpy introvert and
I don't like sharing more information about myself with corporations
than I need to. I fall squarely into Group #6... although I suppose if
the reward is _really_ worth it I might be convinced. But it would
take a heck of a lot more than a cosmetic item (or three).

Where do you draw the line?

7 :) I mostly play indie games and emulators.
