After a couple of years away the RISC OS London Show returns in a few
weeks in a swanky new venue!

The new venue is even better connected than before. It has plenty of free parking and Kenton station is only 5 minutes walk away. Kenton is on the Bakerloo Line and London Overground, providing direct links to most of the
main London terminal stations.

Tickets are 7 pounds on the door, with under-16s free. This is our first
ever price rise, inflation finally catching up with us. Please bring the correct change if possible (or say "Keep the change"!), or we can accept
card payment.

We will have the usual varied mix of stands plus a separate theatre for presentations. There will be the latest machines from R-Comp and
RISCOSbits, with OS updates from ROD and ROOL.

CJE Micro's are making a very welcome return after a few years away.
Updated applications can be obtained from Sine Nomine, Steve Fryatt,
Organizer and Elesar, with games galore from AMCOG (in 3D!), Soft Rock,
and Cameron Cawley. There might even be a new version of RPCEmu...

As if that wasn't enough, you can marvel at the artwork of digital artist
Mike Rose, aka PixelBlip, as he demonstrates how he produces amazing
pictures on the BBC Micro and Archimedes, and listen to the sounds of
Quincy Coleman on his AMCS sequencer system.

For those planning to stay overnight, in addition to the local Premier Inn there are many cheaper hotels in Watford. These are good options because Watford is just outside the ULEZ area and only a 25 minute drive away,
plus Watford Junction and Watford High Street stations are on the London Overground line with direct trains to Kenton every 15 minutes taking 20 minutes. Why not make a long weekend of it and visit some of London's many attractions while you're here, taking advantage of the excellent public transport links into the heart of the city?

As this is the first London Show for a while, the first properly
post-covid, and at a new venue, this is all a bit of an experiment to see
if enough people still have the appetite for a physical show. So if you
want to see shows continue, do come along and support it. This is your opportunity to chat with developers and fellow enthusiasts, hear the
latest news, catch up with old friends, and maybe make some new ones :-)
