Have you configured things up to boot as per normal, i.e. as with the
real OS?

Yes, I think you are right - its just that I don't know how to get it
to run !Boot. I can't find anything in the docs to help me.

Once you are in RPCEmu (within RISC OS), press F12 to go to command
line, type;
co. boot
co. FileSysten HostFS

Many thanks for your input Sniffer (great name) but I've
abandoned the rather poor procedure I used to get RPCEmu onto my
PC. There is a far-far superior method and that is to use RISC OS
Direct's RPCEmu Edition. An excellent package that displays a
complete RISC OS desktop 1920 x 1080 looks very impressive (pity
it doesn't save it over re-boots). I've briefly tested some of
the many included programs (StrongED, NetSurf (network ready -
impressive), DigitalCD, Python (but has issues)). A very simple
download, easy to setup and the result is a very professional
look to the desktop. Well done to the programmer(s).
But if not... If you double click !Boot it'll open a configuration
window, click Screen and set however you want it to display, do
[Set] and there after Bob's yer wotsit.
