    Thank gawd!!

I have a double hernia from lugging that damn lightning cable around.

you too? i thought it was just me.

This is yet another clear indication of the rather low IQ of the iKooks.

I used to wonder why the iKooks can't grasp even this, one of the most
basic of concepts of standardization on cabling standards moving forward.

I thought it was just that they drank the koolaid, but why there have been these flame wars over the decades with Apple aficionados is simply that the Apple iKooks own a superlatively low IQ. Nothing more complex than that.

These low-IQ iKooks can't possibly comprehend what it means in convenience
when the goal is to standardize on a single industry standard for cabling.

Even something as _simple_ as that concept, is beyond iKooks' mental grasp.

Do you know what "tautology" means...

...or did your education not cover that?

To "standardize on a [] standard".

Your logic is flawed. There is no standard. I'm still getting new devices with Mini-USB ports. Just this week a new battery charger for ultra-small RC aircraft came a choice Mini-USB or a 6 volt wall charger.
