    they exist for ios too.

    Hi nospam,

It's good to see you post as an adult for once, where our goal is to help
Ant in determining what to put on the iOS device to warn of service loss.

Let's see how long you can remain an adult in this conversation, shall we?

not only that, but new apple watch ultra has a very loud siren designed
for exactly that purpose, using frequencies not heard in nature.

Does Ant have such a watch?

    2. Is there a way to have subalbums/folders inside the main albums.

    for songs, yes. photos, no.

On Android, you'd just copy the desired files into any folder you like.
Can iOS not do something that trivially simple and yet rather useful?

of course it does, and can even do so automatically, without needing to manually create and update folders. in other words, it does the grunt
    work.

Didn't you just tell Ant moments prior that it won't work for photos?

android is still living in the dark ages, where must do that on their
own, which is not only a hassle, but ripe for mistakes.

I appreciate your dig at Android functionality, and I completely understand
why you feel so defensive about the lack of iOS functionality, but I must remind you that your credibility on claims of iOS functionality is zero.

Hence, if you claim iOS can do something useful and you claim Android
can't, you're almost always dead wrong - so you need to provide a cite.

Most of the world uses free Veracrypt containers to encrypt folders.

no, most of the world does not.

My advice to Ant is heartfelt, which is to add a free truecrypt/veracrypt container so that Ant can store personal data on _any_ platform, and access that data _without_ ever putting private personal data on the Internet.

in fact, most of the world has no idea what that even means.

Whenever you get defensive about saying that nobody needs basic
functionality, it's likely because you know something about iOS not being
able to do what every other platform considers basic obvious functionality.

it also is entirely irrelevant to the question he asked.

Isn't Ant claiming to be a "she" on this newsgroup?

recess is over. it's time for you to go back to the playroom.

What's interesting is how afraid you iKooks are when it comes to discussing functionality that, in this case, you apparently fear the truth coming out.

Posted out of the goodness of my heart to disseminate useful information
which, in this case, is to help Ant add encrypted file containers on iOS.
