It's well known Apple has always put the crappiest batteries in the iPhone.
But maybe that pitiful el cheapo iPhone is gonna improve in the future...

Woo hoo! Finally, an iPhone with a battery capacity of at least that of my
    old 2021 T-Mobile (~$180MSRP) Samsung Galaxy A32-5G which I got for free.

iPhone 11 Pro Max: 3,969 mAh
iPhone 12 Pro Max: 3,687 mAh
iPhone 13 Pro Max: 4,352 mAh
iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4,323 mAh
iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4,422 mAh
iPhone 16 Pro Max: 4,676 mAh
iPhone 17 Pro Max: ~5,000 mAh

Welcome to the modern world, iPhone owners!

Maybe soon Apple will make an iPhone that can earn an A rating for once.

Funny how Apple is almost always five years behind everyone else.

Funny how Apple is almost always five years behind everyone else.

Only 6 smartphones outlasted the iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery life:

Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro: 20:34 (19% longer)
    OnePlus 13: 19:45 (14% longer)
    OnePlus 13R: 18:49 (09% longer)
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro: 18:48 (09% longer)
    Moto G 2025: 18:32 (07% longer)
    OnePlus 12R: 18:08 (05% longer)
    iPhone 16 Pro Max: 17:17

    <https://www.tomsguide.com/us/smartphones-best-battery-life,review-2857.html>

You can look up the sizes of all of their batteries:

Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro: 5800 mAh (23% larger)
    OnePlus 13: 6000 mAh (28% larger)
    OnePlus 13R: 6000 mAh (28% larger)
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro: 5500 mAh (17% larger)
    Moto G 2025: 5000 mAh (07% larger)
    OnePlus 12R: 5500 mAh (17% larger)
iPhone 16 Pro Max: 4685 mAh

Do you see a pattern there?

It each case except for the Moto G, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is more
EFFICIENT than the other smartphones that exceed its battery life.

    Game, set, match.

Oh yes. Arlen - of course - will not.

It each case except for the Moto G, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is more
EFFICIENT than the other smartphones that exceed its battery life.

    Game, set, match.

    Good job.

One might ask the question: Why is the iPhone SO EFFICIENT compared to Android?

Not to mention that the phones with those 6000 mAh batteries would be quite heavy. That OnePlus 13R has battery that is 28% bigger than the iPhone and runs for only 9% (1.5 hours) longer? That's pathetic. A genuine power hog. What is it running on? Intel space heaters?

Imagine how long the iPhone 16 Pro Max would last with a 6000 mAh battery. 22 hours by my calculations.

Let the spluttering from Arlen commence!
