    In summary: they made enough money to pay the employees and for operations,
    but the founders didn't make much. Kyan was apparently bought out by
    Apple, but I'm not sure what Apple did with this purchase.

    Googling shows a Kyan product list, which included a "Code Optimizer
    Toolkit" which includes the source code for the Runtime Library. I would
    be interested in this, but it seems there is no archive of this anywhere.

    That's the way it usually goes with small businesses that have employees.
    Been there, have the t-shirt.

    My memories of using Kyan Pascal are marred by the fact that they were utterly impossible to talk to. Support calls were never returned.
