About the time I upgraded to Ventura, I began having finder problems.
Two weeks ago, I deleted Texty, which I'd downloaded from the app store.
No more finder trouble.
Another problem appeared with Ventura. A Libreoffice document will pop
to the front when I'm working on another document or even another app,
such as a web browser. It seems to be the first document opened when I launched Libreoffice.

Check with the Libreoffice crew. Sounds like they've got a minor bug
that pushes the doc front as if the app just started.
What if I switched to Apple's Pages and Numbers? I haven't so far
because I'd have to learn a new interface, and I'm afraid my files would
be in a format that I couldn't open if Apple dropped these apps.

I'm using 7.4.6, recommended as the latest tried-and-true version. Older versions appear to be unavailable.
Version 7.5.2 is recommended for the more adventurous. If I tried that,
could I go back to 7.4.6 if the newer one works badly for me?

Pages won't open .odt.
