  • X.25 initialization failed on RESET_LINK

    Hi,

    I have a problem with one of our X.25 servers. It works with many RTUs but it fail with one of them. It fail on the comm initialization. The RESET_LINK test return an error code : 0x54c and I don't find anything about that error on the web.

    Anyone can help me ?

    Start with diag - to run standard diagnostics. And, assuming you have BP (better IBM support) - open a PMR/PMH.

    Also, what has errpt reported previously?

    As you have multiple systems/cards - are you able to swap cables/ports to see if the cause is outside the system/adapter?
