    Error loading QML file.

    qrc:/kcm/kcm_nightlight/main.qml:12 module "QtPositioning" is not
    installed

I do have libqt6positioning6 (6.7.2) installed. May be some other
    dependency is missing?

    Hmmm, works here.

I think you need the QML module for it as well. Does

    apt install qml6-module-qtpositioning

    help?

On why it is installed on my system, but not on yours I do not know.

I did not install it manually.

Thanks I’ve added it to the runtime dependencies of plasma-workspace in git. It will be in the next upload.

    Help-text says:
The GeoClue2 service will be used to periodically update the device's location using GPS or cell tower triangulation if available, or else
by sending its IP address to GeoIP.

^^ Not sure if I really want that.

If you are using an Android smartphone with Google Play Services which
send your location and more every 15 minutes to Google, the GeoClue2
service will probably be quite harmless.

But I still just selected a spot on the map. I see no need to have a
    system service running for that.

If you like to use geoclue I bet "geoclue-2.0" would be the package to
    install.

Here is some detail on how it tries to determine your location:

    https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/geoclue/geoclue/-/wikis/home

See for yourself whether you are okay with that.

I just installed Plasma 6.2.0 from experimental to testing (it also needs pulling Qt 6.7.2 from unstable since it's
still stuck there and didn't get to testing yet).

So far experience is pretty good. I noticed just a few strange things:

    * libkf6dbusaddons-bin became not dependent on by any package an auto so I apt-marked it as manual since
I'm not sure if anything needs it or not? If it's intended, I can mark it as auto back and let it get autoremoved.

Other than that, I haven't noticed anything wrong while using it so far.

    Also, org.kde.plasma.quicklaunch is missing now?
