• Help me move from Knotes to Marknote

From Valerio Passini@21:1/5 to All on Tue Dec 3 23:10:01 2024
    Hi,
I missed that Knotes is no longer maintained and Marknote has been packaged
as a replacement, so I don't know how to get my notes back because I
blindly dist-upgraded. I saw an "Import from Knotes" feature, but I can't
get it to work. Do you know if it works and how to import notes?

I realized that Marknote has two methods to import notes and the less
obvious one (Import from Maildir Vs Import from Knotes) is the correct one. Marknote expects to find Knotes notes inside ~/.local/share/notes/ (a fixed location), but mine were in another subfolder, so I had to respect this
rule and move my notes to the correct path. Now I have my notes back
