  • Where are plasma config files ?

    In order to avoid problems, I'd like to remove (and backup all
    plasma5 configuration before upgrading to plasma 6, then recreate what
    I can (eg I see people with old personal shortcut not working, but who
    cannot find how to edit them, etc).

    However I find some in .config, some in .local, but mixed with
    unrelated applications for which I'd like to keep my configurations.

    So which configuration files should I remove/backup ?

    They are scattered around in these locations and subdirectories thereof.

    I am not aware of a complete list.

    In KDE 3/4 times there has been some extra ~/.kde directory, but this has
    been done away with in favor for the Freedesktop specification.
