Hello,
I have a few issues after the upgrade from bookworm to trixie:
1) sddm shows an on-screen keyboard on a regular desktop. I can
switch to the normal keyboard, but that looks wrong
2) kdeconnect 24.12.0 on trixie does not connect to kdeconnect
1.33.2 on Android anymore. Some Android phone connects flawless to
kdeconnect 24.12.3 on a Manjaro system.
3) When I log in again, all windows open on a single desktop and not
on the desktop where they have been before the previous logout
4) In kmail some folders are missing for an imap account (with many
folders). On the imap server, the all mail folders are present.

This probably needs some more troubleshooting, and perhaps a bug
report.
At a minimum, it would be nice to know what IMAP server you
are using
and how many folders we are talking about.
Also, any error
messages might help point in the right direction.
Kmail works fine for me with about 30 folders and courier-imap.

This is an issue that has been discussed on the mailing list. If I
remember correctly, it works in X11, but not in Wayland. The upgrade switches to Wayland by default, but you can go back to X11 if you
like.

This has been much discussed on the mailing list. The situation has
improved a bit, but it still happens to me from time to time,
particularly after the screen has been locked (but not consistently).
You can resolve the problem by removing a certain package (I don’t
remember which), but it really would be nice if this could be fixed
before trixie.
I’ll probably move the dependency on qt6-virtualkeyboard-plugin from sddm itself to the greeter themes that correctly supports touch detection since enough people are seeing this, but it would be better if all greeter themes or SDDM itself fix the issue.

I hope that theme is the default, not having the virtual keyboard means
users on phones and tablets can't login.

I am happy to open a bug report, do you have a suggestion what
debugging information should be included?
At a minimum, it would be nice to know what IMAP server you

dovecot on Debian bookworm.

~ 1400

I don't get any error message. What I observed though:
- akonadiconsole has all folders
- kmail server subscription menu has also all folders and all of
them are selected
- in kmail local subscriptions and kmail folder list some folders
are missing
Kmail works fine for me with about 30 folders and courier-imap.
I only observed that some folders are missing, other than that, I
also don't observe problems.
Thanks
Rainer
Hey,
4) In kmail some folders are missing for an imap account (with
many
folders). On the imap server, the all mail folders are present.

I would recommend opening the bug against Kmail with all the
information you have. Hopefully someone has some idea of the root
cause or some procedure for sussing out further information. The bug
can be reassigned to a different package (like akonadi or dovecot) if
it ends up not being Kmails’ problem.
I face the same issue like rainer that some folders are not showing up in KMail but all are visible in akonadiconsole. Very visible it is for my ionos.de address , where my INBOX is affeced. But also for my dovecot
handled address.
my workaraound is to reset the content types in the properties of the
folders via akonadiconsole (right click on the folder select "Folder Properties". For me the "content types" is empty than the folder is invisible. So I add "message/rfc822" to the content types close the dialog via Ok. Reopen it and add "inode/directory" close again and voila the
folder is visible and useable in kmail.
The strange thing on database level it has both mimetypes already attached. Removing and readding the mimetpyes triggers something that fixes the invisible state of the folder.
And this workaround only works till you restart akonadi.
