Google's been doing this from the start. Qt's just upstreaming it

You're getting sickly. I sent the link to a news that appeared on a reputable,
if not authoritative, site. I have not offended anyone. I have not made references to anyone. Why do you bust my balls?
    Prejudice?

    Compare two scenarios:

    --Scenario 1------
<Message bombing a singe link with a subject which calls for discussion,
single comment made on expression, as this was twitter, from a community
member who already posted several comments whose content and comments is at
the boundary of CoC (for which I didn't comment in the past, it doesn't mean I enjoyed it).

    -Scenario 2------

    Hi people,
Have you seen this? It may seem worrisome, but maybe there is more than what
it seems? Do you have more news?
    <link>
    ----------------

May be this prejudice? I don't know, there are relevant precedents and I think there is space for improvement by tuning the messaging.

Maybe I am missing something, what is the problem with a company releasing a new product for paying customers. A new product that has nothing to with Debian, KDE or what we use of Qt?

I mean it will likely make the products of those paying customers objectively worse, but we can just choose not to use those products, which aren't Open Source anyway.

No, you are not missing anything here.

There is nothing to see here.

Even if you do not agree with this move by The Qt Company.

As long as KDE developers stay their current course, there is nothing to
    worry about.
