• Bug#1095737: valgrind: unsatisfiable recommends on valgrind-dbg

From Vincent Lefevre@21:1/5 to All on Tue Feb 11 12:30:01 2025
    Package: valgrind
    Version: 1:3.24.0-2
    Severity: serious

valgrind 1:3.24.0-2 still has a "Recommends" on valgrind-dbg, which
is no longer available. This prevents upgrade with aptitude, in
    particular.

Either the valgrind-dbg package should be built, or the Recommends
should be dropped. But see also bug 1057621

    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1057621
    "valgrind should not drop valgrind-dbg"

which was reported more than one year ago and for which there have
    been no comments.
