• Bug#1096176: mdanalysis: autopkgtest failures against numpy 1

From Emilio Pozuelo Monfort@21:1/5 to All on Mon Feb 17 10:00:02 2025
    Source: mdanalysis
    Version: 2.8.0-2
    Severity: serious

    Hi,

Your package is failing its own autopkgtests for testing migration.
Those runs are against packages for testing, and since mdanalysis
    doesn't require numpy 2 in d/t/control (or d/control through @builddeps@)
then numpy/testing is used. Please either change the tests so they pass
against both numpy versions, so that mdanalysis can migrate (ideal, so that this can migrate before numpy), or require numpy 2 if that's necessary.

    Cheers,
    Emilio
