• Bug#1054922: libengine-gost-openssl: FTBFS on s390x - fix available ups

From Adrien Nader@21:1/5 to All on Tue Mar 25 10:00:01 2025
    Hi,

There is an upstream patch available for this issue at https://github.com/gost-engine/engine/commit/e0a500ab877ba72cb14026a24d462dd923b90ced

I'll be uploading that to Ubuntu.

BTW, I'll also upload another patch there because the perl tests have
started running (a dep somehow became installed) but cmake runs them in parallel but they reuse the same filenames. I guess that currently
doesn't apply to Debian but may do so at some point.

Hello. I think you refer to this change in the Ubuntu patch:

    * Use different filenames for the tests that can run in parallel

    https://patches.ubuntu.com/libe/libengine-gost-openssl/libengine-gost-openssl_3.0.2-1ubuntu1.patch

I confirm that this is happening in Debian unstable now. This is from a recent test build on a system with 2 CPUs:

17: # Running tests for test type conf
    17: ok 1 - GOST R 34.11-2012 256bit example 1 from standard
17: testm1.dat: No such file or directory
    17: 406743F6747F0000:error:80000002:system library:file_ctrl:No such file or directory:../crypto/bio/bss_file.c:288:calling fopen(testm1.dat, r)
    17: 406743F6747F0000:error:10080002:BIO routines:file_ctrl:system lib:../crypto/bio/bss_file.c:291:
    17: not ok 2 - GOST R 34.11-2012 512bit example 1 from standard

Feel free to report it as a separate bug.

    Thanks.
