• Bug#1101970: workrave: missing Replaces for workrave-data

    From Helmut Grohne@21:1/5 to All on Thu Apr 3 10:10:01 2025
    Package: workrave
    Version: 1.10.51.1-4
    Severity: serious
    Tags: patch
    User: debian-qa@lists.debian.org
    Usertags: fileconflict
    Control: affects -1 + workrave-data

    Hi,

    two files were moved from workrave-data to workrave in version
    1.10.51.1-4 (according to its d/changelog):
    * /usr/share/gir-1.0/Workrave-1.0.gir
    * /usr/share/metainfo/workrave.appdata.xml

    workrave declares appropriate Breaks but misses the required Replaces to prevent concurrent unpacks from failing. As a result, bookworm -> trixie upgrades may fail. Please add:

    Replaces: workrave-data (<< 1.10.51.1-4)

    to the workrave binary package section in debian/control.

    Helmut
