• Bug#1102187: rust-libxml - bindings unportable

From Bastian Blank@21:1/5 to All on Sun Apr 6 10:00:01 2025
    Package: rust-libxml
    Version: 0.3.3-1
    Severity: serious

rust-libxml ships pre-generated and architecture specific bindings.
Those need to be generated for the correct architecture during build or
    so.

    The upstream bug is: https://github.com/KWARC/rust-libxml/issues/73

I've submitted a fix for this bug: https://salsa.debian.org/rust-team/debcargo-conf/-/merge_requests/881

Could someone from the Rust team review at this suggested fix for a
    release critical bug?

    Also sent upstream: https://github.com/KWARC/rust-libxml/pull/143

    Thanks
